What will be the main difference between the curriculum at EBIA and at public schools?

Karin Foust -

In some ways it is similar to traditional public schools, but in other ways different: blended, PBL, differentiation.  There is very little direct or traditional instruction.  Students are working on their own, in small groups on projects/discussions/hands on work and doing large group projects with the teacher.   We use research based best practices aligned to state and national standards, and modeled after our model schools--Summit, HTH, DSST.  Our aim is to teach 21st century skills (collaboration, communication, creativity, critical thinking) and to prepare students to be successful in college and beyond.
